The Stone Thrower

Read me:

After a long journey, you stopped to catch your breath. The impenetrable fog makes the air heavy, it seems as if you are not alone in this haze, and life is boiling around you, but even if you are, you still won't see it. You lit a cigarette and began to while away the time immersed in thought. 

There are railway tracks nearby. 

You pick up one of the stones, of those stones that surround you literally everywhere. It's literally a stone ocean. It is unclear for what reason you decided to pick up this stone, this thought just abruptly appeared and got into your head. Just as abruptly, the thought of abandoning him flared up. It felt like it was burning your hand. 

These are definitely not simple stones and you are left alone with them...
